I am passionate about music and sharing it with others. My goal as a teacher is to create a positive learning environment where the student can develop musical skills and a love of music. I am especially focused on helping young students become motivated and enthusiastic about piano through a careful selection of curriculum.
Lessons are tailored to the individual student and will focus on repertoire, sight reading, technique, listening skills, theory, practicing techniques, musicianship and performance.
Performing is an important part of musical study. Music should be shared and recitals are times to celebrate what students have accomplished.
I take great pleasure in watching my students develop confidence and musical skills while gaining a love of music!
